Barnaby in Ohio
Has a Home

9/19/04Barnaby was adopted by the Crowe family in Brighton, MI.   He has  2 doggie sisters to play with and a one acre yard surrounded by a privacy fence -- he's in heaven.  The Crowes love Beardies and Aussies, so Barnaby is the perfect combination for them.  He will also continue his obedience training.  We wish you well, Barnaby.  Your foster mommy will miss you (sniff).

Original Story 8/27/04 - Banranby is about 1 to 2 years old. He weighs about 35 to 40 pounds. He is up to date on vacinations, neutered, and has no health issues.

He is very friendly to people and children. He also likes other dogs and has been good with all sizes of dogs. But Barnaby should not be around cats as he might attack them. He has been described as the type of dog that you can take to the dog park and not have any problems. He is very playful with other dogs.

He really loves to run and should have a good size yard. Barnaby also can jump high and so needs a higher than normal fence (he can jump a 4 foot fence). Is previous foster also advised that invisible (uncderground) fences have not worked on him. If he gets out, then he might chase a car and he might jump up on people when greeting them.

Barnaby enjoys obedience training and has been working on "sit and stay". he needs a lot of work on come , especially when iinvolved in a chase.

This very cute Neardie was rescued by A New Start on Life in Holland Mchigan. No homes were found in Michigan, so Glenn made arrangements with Judy in Ohio to help find Barnaby a home - and Barnaby was moved to Ohio. We hope you read this and can provide barnaby with the home he deserves.
